It doesn't track customer credit or udhaar (who owes you money); if that's what you're looking for, Tovan isn't built for that. No. Tovan records your business's income and expenses — not individual customer credit accounts. If udhaar tracking is what you need, Tovan isn't the right fit.
Can I keep a separate khata for each of my businesses?
Yes. Each business gets its own khata — entries, categories, team, and reports — all kept separate under one Tovan account.
What happens to my khata if I lose my phone?
Your khata is backed up daily, so signing in on another device brings back your entries — nothing is only on one phone.
Can my staff write entries in the khata?
Yes. Invite them as Workers so they can add income and expense entries; only Owners manage billing and team settings.
